7-9 Year Olds

 WORD Camps are the best part of school holidays! We have a variety of different camps during the holidays. Each camp we will ride, learn and giggle...heaps! Camps are open to kids of all MTB skill abilities. We split into groups, so we can ride with mates of similar radness.

January Holidays, 2025

Bookings Opening 21 Nov 8pm!

This is a 2 day camp. Each day we’ll explore the trail network in the area, learn some skills, have snacks and heaps of fun! We will split into smaller groups on the first morning based on abilities/fitness/interests and then head up on the trails! Parents will drop off and pick up at the following locations.

This camp runs from 8:30am-3pm each day. Since it is such a popular and fun camp, we are bringing you two rounds! Please see below where and when we will be running Know you Local these holidays.

Cost: $215 for the 2 days includes:
-Experienced and super fun WORD mountain bike instructor (1:8 ratio)
-WORD t-shirt and WORD sticker

Know your Local Camps!

Let’s get out and explore the region! Each day we’ll meet and jump inton Vinnie the WORD van to head off to different trails! We’ll split into groups when we’re riding… plenty of time to explore, learn a few skills, and make some new friends! To really make the most out of this camp, riders will want to be comfortable riding Grade 3 tracks such as Ikigai, Jailbrake, Electric Avenue and the likes.

Drop off and Pick up (3pm) your kiddo in front of Amora Hotel Wakefield Street each day. Vinnie the WORD Van will be driving us to each riding locations, departing at 8:30am!

  • 16-17 January (8:30-3pm)

Day 1 - Wainuiomata and Belmont
Day 2 - Miramar, Mt Victoria, Waimapihi

Cost: $255 for the 2 day camp and includes:

-Transport to the trails!

Van Camp

Welcome to WORD! These camps are perfect if you’re new to mountain biking… we’ll spend time getting to know each other, learning some sweet skills, and exploring the trails. Riders will need to know how to ride a bike (including getting on and off their bike on their own) to really enjoy this camp. No off road experience necessary, that’s what we’re here for! Parents will drop off and pick up at the following locations.

Cost: $100 for the 2 half-days includes:
– Experienced and super fun WORD mountain bike instructor (1:8 ratio)
–WORD t-shirt and WORD sticker
